The name maYevo came from a compound word, from its base Yevo (Greek) = I taste, which together with Mayis (Magis Greek) = sweetness, enchant the taste in an absolutely gourmet name!

Mayevo was founded by Stavroula Bourika in Evia with the aim of creating gourmet products using traditional methods, old recipes, zero mileage ingredients and a commitment to respecting the seasons, which can affect product availability.

The business is family owned and it was the beginning to finally set up
a zealous producer, following the triptych “Tradition –

Wanting to upgrade the dessert of the spoon, the step was taken from

Processes – also produces, Black Garlic for Vinaigrette sauce and took the step from LOVE to INNOVATION and “married” Black Garlic with Fig in a VEGAN CHOCOLATE FIG ROLL purely INNOVATIVE PRODUCT to begin with and will move on to another INNOVATIVE, the ' Black Diamond' which he will soon announce as a 'delightful surprise from day to day!
The famous 'Golden Apple' Apricot compote, with gold leaf, as well as the Green Olive spoon dessert filled with almonds in Santorini wine syrup, are examples of the careful preparation of special Gourmet Spoon Sweets, which will travel to delicatessens, hotels and abroad.

We participate in various events and some products were awarded (reference from the old website) in London (Mediterranean taste awards); we are also associated with the Greek breakfast. Our products are very versatile: from breakfast, pizza to aperitifs.

Our company successfully participated in the IFE (International Food & Drink event) on 20 March 2023 in London, one of the leading trade fairs in the field of product supply worldwide. During this participation we granted two interviews that highlighted our products.
The first interview took place during the IFE exhibition, where the Greek TV channel introduced us to a large audience through an in-depth interview. The second interview took place two months ago here in Greece, via internet, on the Australian radio station SIMBA. During this live video interview, we showcased our products to inform the audience and discuss the company's values and goals. This interview, along with three publications in German newspapers, is a great gift from the German community, who express their appreciation for Mayevo's progress and the high quality of our products. Furthermore, ExpressEvia spoke positively about us and our creations, highlighting the natural origin and 100% made in Greece character of our products and partnerships.
We participated in the Mediterranean Taste Awards 2023 and our award winning products - fig rolls, green olive oil stuffed with almond in Santorini wine, apple jam and green matcha tea.
After marching on the culinary scene with passion and precision, 'MAYEVO' has won top awards, including the prestigious Med Taste Awards. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to produce high quality products of traditional excellence that delight the palate.
Our participation in the initiative Greek Breakfast reflects our commitment to promote and preserve authentic Greek flavors. 'MAYEVO' has proudly participated in the Philoxenia Expo, showcasing our products to a global audience and receiving praise for our commitment to culinary innovation.
